VelaShape™’s unique Elos technology combines electrical (Bi-polar RF) and the optical (Infrared) energies with vacuum and mechanical massage of the skin tissue to provide high levels of efficacy and safety. These technologies combined work to improve the skin tone and texture along with reducing the appearance of cellulite as well as reducing circumference and improving contour of the treated area.
What is Cellulite?
Fat clusters in the hypo-dermis become distended through the connective tissues which results in the dimpling effect of cellulite. Reduced blood circulation in these areas leaves the skin looking dull with poor tone and texture. It is estimated that 80% of women over the age of 20 suffer varying degrees of cellulite.
What areas can be treated?
This treatment gives fantastic results to thighs, bums, upper-arms, hips, tummy and calves. We have noted fantastic results when treating post-pregnancy saggy tummies as the elasticity of the skin is greatly improved leaving a better contour to the area. This non-invasive treatment has no down-time and is a relatively painless procedure. Most of out patient describe the treatment similar to that of a deep tissue massage with added warmth.
How VelaShape™ works
VelaShape™ targets cellulite by heating the hypodermis, this heat increases the metabolism of fat cells which in turn makes them shrink and also results in tightening of the skin. The vacuum and roller massage increase circulation and improve lymphatic drainage thus leaving the skins surface smoother.
How many treatments?
With a course of four treatments it is possible to reduce the appearance of cellulite and experience circumference reduction and improved contour. With maintenance treatments every 1 to 6 months it is possible to keep the cellulite away, and this treatment can safely be used on any skin colour.

Price
Initial treatment: 4 treatments are required to achieve results, although more maybe required depending on the degree of cellulite, elasticity of the skin and desired contour of the treatment area.
Prices start from £100 a session
Example of common treatment: side of upper outer and back of thigh with lower part of the buttock is £200 a session which usually takes 45 to 60 minutes to treat.
If you have more than one treatment area an individual price can be given during a free 15minute no-obligation consultation, or at time of first treatment, as depending on the size of the area the price may vary.
