Mesotherapy
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a treatment of micro-injections that are introduced into the mesoderm which is the middle layer of skin. The injections deliver a mixture of vitamins; which can also be blended with Hyaluronic acid and Botox®; that combined have a healing and corrective effect. Mesotherapy is also used to minimize the appearance of cellulite with a blend of vitamins and caffeine.
What does it treat?
Mesotherapy is effective at rejuvenating and tightening the skin as well as minimising stretch marks. When combined with Hyaluronic acid it greatly improves hydration and moisture levels back to the skin; and when Botox® is added the result is improved tone and firmness of the skin, which is excellent for tired, crêpy and sun damaged skin. The treatment is also used to target specific areas of cellulite as it helps dissolve small areas of fatty cells thus improving the appearance of cellulite.
What is Mesotherapy U225?
Mesotherapy is simply injecting into the middle layer of the skin that was developed in France some 50 years ago. However the amount of injections needed to get results along with the time taken and the discomfort to the patient was always a problem. Thankfully with the U225 device the discomfort is dramatically minimised along with the treatment time as the device injects with a hydraulic system which delivers 10 micro injections per second. Therefore significant areas can be covered within minutes of treatment. The reason why the U225 is pain-free is two-fold. The vibration from the human hand and the angle at which the injection is given is responsible for the discomfort. The U225 removes the vibration of the human hand and the injections are delivered at the same angle each time which is the point of least resistance of the skin, thus minimising the discomfort.
Treatment Information
How does it work?
Treatment activates micro-circulation in the arteries, veins and lymph glands, which allows the regeneration of cells which in turn creates new collagen. For cellulite it helps in the elimination of toxins and excess fluid along with dissolving fatty cells that are resistant to diet and exercise
Post-treatment
You can resume normal activity immediately. You may have a few visible pin-pricks from the needle however these will fade within the next 24 hours. Some bruising may occur, but this is not common.
Suggested treatment regime
The French suggest a regime of:
1 treatment a week for 3 weeks, followed by 1 treatment a month for 3 months (6 treatments in total of which one should be blended with Hyaluronic acid and/or Botox® for skin rejuvenation).
However even one treatment is enough to enjoy the benefits of glowing skin, however to optimise the results at least 3 treatments should be taken. Treatments for cellulite, skin lifting and hair re-growth depend on each individual and may require more.

Testimonials
"I am amazed at how much mesotherapy has improved the appearance of my skin. After a few treatments my skin feels smoother, it glows and seems thicker and not so paper thin! I felt a little like a human pin cushion, but the treatment was comfortable and after I had some Lycogel foundation applied and I was off straight back to work without looking like a pin cushion." Victoria Simson - 39, Art Gallery Owner - Kensington
"Mesotherapy with the U225 is fantastic, beats the old fashioned painful injections by far. A week after my first session my skin was glowing, its really good to know that I am helping the health of my skin and giving it what it needs to look good".
Kirsty Adams - 42, mum of 2 - Belsize Park
"Hoorah, a treatment for cellulite that actually works!"
Miss Happy Bottom - 33 - Dance Instructor - West London
