ELOS™ IPL FOR HAIR REDUCTION
The hair follicles can be selectively heated and damaged, which causes the hair to fall out and any subsequent re-growth to be finer and sparser. It is recommended that 4 to 8 treatments are required over a period of time to realistically achieve an 80% hair reduction anywhere on the body.
ELOS™ IPL FOR ACNE
The blue light destroys the bacteria that causes Acne and reduces the production of sebum, combined this results in a less greasy spot-free complexion. The number of treatments depends on the severity of the Acne, however the average is eight treatments over an eight week duration.
ELOS™ IPL FOR SKIN REJUVENATION ADVANCED
This treatment targets vascular lesions and areas of pigmentation. It is a highly effective treatment for thread veins and rosecea. This treatment is the only one that can not be used for darker skin tones.
ELOS™ IPL FOR SKIN TIGHTENING
The energy is delivered to the connective skin tissue; it stimulates collagen fibers which begin to rebuild their structure leaving the complexion looking more youthful and tighter.
DOES THE TREATMENT HURT?
Most patients find the IPL treatments relatively painless compared to other types of laser, electrolysis or waxing. Some liken it to the sensation of pins and needles, and some feel more discomfort when treating areas close to the bone. However the discomfort lasts for seconds and no lasting effect is felt. The Syneron machine has a cooling tip through which the light is passed which along with the cold Aloe Vera gel that is used to conduct the light also helps numb the treatment area which reduces discomfort.
